I'm super excited about today's post! Those of you who knew me before I bought Paper Pretties know that for the past 3 years I've used my personal blog to help a friend of mine raise money of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year, I'm thrilled to be able to help out as a friend and a business owner.
My good friend Chava (who I've known for more than 30 years) has a 3 1/2 year old son, Alex. Shortly after Alex was born, he was diagnosed with having Cystic Fibrosis. For those of you unfamiliar with CF here is a brief description:
Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that: clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
Here is where the exciting part comes in...one of our Paper Pretties illustrators, Joni Stringfield, has drawn an ADORABLE Easter set called EASTER BABIES. We will be selling this set as a DIGITAL IMAGE SET. All of the proceeds from the sale of this set (minus Paypal fees) will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help find a cure for Alex and everyone else suffering from this disease!
This adorable digital image set is available in the Paper Pretties store. After checking out you will immediately receive an email with a link to the downloadable zipped file containing high quality jpg files of all of the set images and sentiments!
You get all of these amazing Easter digital images for only $7.
Check out these AWESOME cards made by DT members Cindy Haffner and Chris Veneruso.
Thanks for stopping by today! Do you know any friends who enjoy working with digital images? Spread the word and help us support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
